Racehorse to Riding Horse Reboot Clinic – Dubbo!

Is retraining your off the track racehorse not going quite as planned?

Do you feel like you need some guidance on why it's not working the same as your last horse?

Or have you just got a new one off the track and aren't sure where to start?

Isabelle Chandler is holding a clinic at Dubbo Equestrian Centre on Sunday 25 October for anyone who is enrolled or considering our Racehorse to Riding Horse program, or anyone interested in what's involved in the process.

At Racehorse to Riding Horse we're all about busting the myths and misconceptions around OTTs. Isabelle will give you insight into their life on the track and how it affects them as they transition to being a riding horse. There are differences you need to be aware of, and training gets so much easier once you understand them.

You'll also learn the steps of our Racehorse Reboot program, so you have a clear path from where you are now to the partnership you want with your horse.

Sessions start with a physical assessment of your horse's body and movement, then a groundwork session, with the possibility of ridden work after that. Isabelle is also a bodyworker, so she can help you assess any physical or behavioural issues that might be getting in the way.

The clinic is aimed at OTTs, but all horses are welcome to come along and learn the process and how to apply it.

There's also the chance to add a bodywork session after your lesson at a discounted price. You can book individual bodywork sessions for horses that aren't coming to the clinic too.
